This Ratafia is our first foray into the exciting world of traditional liqueurs. We stopped the fermentation of our apple juice by adding a variety of eaux de vie, then aged the whole in oak barrels for over a year, resulting in a very complex ratafia, with flavors of baked apples, frangipane, hazelnut and spices. Bottled without filtration at the natural abv of 19%.
Enjoy neat or with ice as an aperitif. Pair it with blue cheese or chocolate desserts. A nice cocktail base too !
